Charles is the founder of the Street Dance student society "Soulxpress" in the University of Sydney. He was also its popping instructor from 2005- 2007 in addition to being one of its executive committee members while pursuing his Bachelor of Law & Commerce there. He has also taught in prominent Sydney Studios such as Dancekool Studio, Crossover Studio as well as Dance Central.

Highlights include getting 2nd place in "Singapore Best Dance Crew" Solo Category 2012 held at West Coast Mall, Performing for the Singapore Youth Olympic games 2010. Charles has also begun filming an episodic series highlighting the dancers representing the various streets styles in Singapore. Each episode is shot, directed, produced with all production editing done by Charles. This was an initiative that Charles pioneered in Singapore so as to promote the integral role “Freestyling” takes in Street dance as compared to other classical styles (Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary) which are based solely on choreography. It has also allowed him to widen his experience in video editing, story boarding, sound mixing, fx creations and the necessary planning for the logistics that is involved with any filming.
